About The Entry

As AI becomes the default interface for customer support, the real challenge is no longer whether the system works—but whether users trust it when things go wrong. This project explores how an AI support agent can move beyond transactional efficiency and become a

reassuring presence, particularly in emotionally charged financial moments such as fraud disputes or lost credit cards.

Instead of hiding AI behind text bubbles or abstract icons, this concept makes the agent visible, expressive, and intentionally designed. Through the integration of avatar, voice, and personality modulation, the experience focuses on how users perceive AI—because perception ultimately shapes trust, confidence, and willingness to engage.

Solution Overview

The proposed solution is a multimodal AI support experience that allows users to interact through text, voice, or video-enhanced conversations. Rather than forcing a single interaction style, the system adapts to user preference and emotional context.

At the center is a stylized AI avatar that represents the support agent. The avatar is intentionally non-realistic, signaling transparency while still offering human-like cues such as facial expression, posture, and pacing. Users can choose from different agent profiles, each with adjustable personality traits including seriousness, openness, confidence, and communication speed.

This flexibility allows the AI to respond differently depending on the situation. During sensitive cases like fraud disputes, the agent adopts a calmer tone, slower speech, and more neutral expressions to emphasize clarity and reassurance. For everyday tasks such as

balance checks or budgeting, the experience becomes lighter and more conversational.

The goal is not to humanize AI for novelty, but to align its behavior with users’ emotional needs.
