About The Entry
Confronting the constraints of a high-density urban environment, our core philosophy is "Dissolving Boundaries," creating an organic entity that evolves freely with daily life scenarios. Through "overlapping functions" and "activated circulation," we reconcile the conflicting demands of storage, privacy, and spatial openness.
At the center lies a multi-functional island combining a sink and an extendable dining table. Acting as a casual mini-bar or a formal dining table for four, it connects the kitchen and living room. Serving as the boundary between the public area and the private bedroom entrance, it stands as the central hub of the entire home.
To maximize efficiency, we transformed the corridor leading to the private quarters into a walk-through closet. This design imbues a mere transitional passageway with essential storage functionality, effectively relieving spatial pressure within the bedrooms.
Furthermore, transparent glass replaces the traditional solid wall between the master bedroom and the living room. Paired with adjustable curtains, it allows light and sightlines to permeate freely, enabling the space to switch flexibly between an "open vista" and a "private sanctuary."
Visually, warm wood textures, woven cane details, and mineral paint create a serene atmosphere. This tranquility stands in stark contrast to the bustling, chaotic streetscape outside, effectively soothing the tension of urban life. We believe limited footage does not mean compromising on quality of life; through design, we redefine the essence of urban dwelling.
