About The Entry

This project centers on haskap anthocyanins, developing a systematic packaging design that integrates scientific value with regional cultural expression. Rooted in the cold-climate ecological resources of the Tongbei Forest Region, the design transforms haskap berries—rich in natural anthocyanins—into a highly recognizable brand visual language. Through a cohesive packaging system, it reinforces both the product’s functional benefits and its ecological value, shaping a competitive and contemporary health food identity.

Visually, the packaging draws from the deep, distinctive hues of haskap berries, using layered gradients and refined negative space to create a premium aesthetic that balances nature and science. This approach communicates purity and authenticity while highlighting the antioxidant properties of anthocyanins. Elements inspired by cold-region forests are combined with minimalist geometric compositions, forming a unified yet dynamic visual system that strengthens brand recognition across the series.

In terms of structure and user experience, the design emphasizes practicality and sustainability. Thoughtful opening mechanisms and material choices ensure product protection during transportation while enhancing ease of use and reducing resource consumption. The modular system accommodates various product formats and sizes, while establishing a clear visual framework for future extensions.

Through the strategies of visualizing product value, branding regional resources, and systematizing packaging design, the project evolves from a single product solution into a scalable brand asset. It not only highlights the ecological strengths of the Tongbei Forest Region, but also elevates the value of the haskap industry, presenting a new paradigm for modern food packaging that integrates cultural expression, market communication, and sustainability.
