Two Wings proposes a fitness model in which space and the senses work together to create motivation, identity, and well-being. The goal is for the state generated inside the gym to be maintained outside as well: what is experienced throughout the journey stays with the person as energy, balance, and a positive attitude.
The project applies the principles of neuroarchitecture to guide the user’s emotional state through a clear and progressive sequence, from everyday mental pressure to a motivational reset capable of increasing energy, focus, and the desire to train. Subtle scents, soundscapes, color palettes, calibrated and scenographic lighting, and surfaces with varying tactile qualities create a synesthetic and enveloping experience.
Created in Florence as an Boutique Fitness Experience for Alice Elam, Master Instructor at Technogym and ICYFF official reference, the concept translates identity and performance into coherent, recognizable spaces designed to support both the user experience and the brand’s value.
The Cycling Room is immersive and collective, with magenta and red lighting, rhythmic music, and dynamic staging that turns training into an event. The journey continues in the AperiShopping area, a retail space and aperitif zone, where the post-class moment becomes a time to meet and share sensations, strengthening relationships in a convivial atmosphere.
The Body and Mind Room slows the pace through muted tones, soft surfaces, and controlled light, encouraging concentration and fluidity. The StoreFit Room, essential and technological, enhances EMS training with a minimal design and functional lighting. The Recovery Experience with Zerobody and cryotherapy introduces cool tones and measured light to promote deep relaxation. Changing rooms, waiting areas, and technical spaces complete the narrative with natural materials, wood, and tactile surfaces with an industrial accent.
Two Wings thus becomes a designed ecosystem in which every choice shapes behavior, activates relationships, and reinforces memory.
