About The Entry

“徹底岩茶 Rock Rhyme Tea” is inspired by traditional Chinese Wuyi Rock Tea, a rare tea grown in cliffside crevices with a rich history. The design incorporates rock elements as the primary visual theme, blending prints of Song Dynasty with contemporary brushwork illustrations. With its youthful and distinctive packaging, the design introduces this premium tea, traditionally marketed to an older demographic, to younger consumers while bringing Chinese tea culture into modern life.

The packaging features a rock gray base color with red (cinnamon) and green (shui xian) for flavor distinction, creating visual and tactile appeal. This concept is extended to gift boxes, which include two large canisters(120g each) and one travel canister(12g). An accompanying booklet details the traditional twelve-step tea-making process and brewing techniques. The packaging design also extends to the cold-brew tea series. These elements reflect the concept of "徹底岩茶"—a thorough exploration of rock tea.
