This is a tea brand jointly developed by a Yunnan cultural tourism institution and a tea company from Shaanxi. The design centers on regional culture, integrating distinctive cultural imagery from Yunnan into both the visual identity and the packaging structure. The peacock serves as the key symbolic element in the visual system. Decorative graphic language combined with ethnic patterns conveys the cultural richness and diversity associated with Yunnan. At the structural level, the packaging draws inspiration from the concept of small towns, small courtyards, and small tea squares, forming a packaging expression that reflects a sense of local lifestyle and giving the product a clear visual and cultural identity.
The packaging adopts a vibrant palette of high saturation orange, green, blue, and white. This color scheme evokes the lively subtropical atmosphere of Yunnan and reflects the bold color traditions found in the region’s ethnic cultures. In the illustrations, the peacock interweaves with ornamental ethnic motifs to form a richly decorative visual composition. The design communicates regional cultural characteristics while maintaining strong market appeal, establishing a contemporary visual interpretation of traditional tea culture.
