The cafeteria design adheres to the philosophy of "Uphold Integrity and Innovation, Pursue Excellence with Craftsmanship," aiming to break the boundaries of traditional campus dining spaces. Drawing inspiration from the surrealist art of Salvador Dalí, the project transforms fluid forms and subconscious scenes into spatial design, redefining dining behaviors and experiences. The design integrates food collection, dining, and tableware recycling into a seamless flow, turning peak-hour pressure into a smooth and elegant daily experience. Diverse seating arrangements cater to various needs, from private solitude to team socializing, creating a multi-layered dining theater that blends artistic expression with functional use.

The project balances surrealist expression with the practical need for efficient cleaning, avoiding the stacking of concrete artistic symbols. Instead, it translates artistic elements into ceiling configurations, wall textures, and furniture lines. Warm logs and delicate art paint, combined with brightly colored soft furnishings, ensure both aesthetics and easy maintenance. The design addresses the building’s monotony by transforming structural columns into visual installations that serve as corporate displays and basic lighting. Accent and linear lighting guide sightlines, shaping an immersive spatial atmosphere.

Sustainability is integral to the design. Water-based inorganic coatings with low formaldehyde emissions are used, and custom wood cabinetry follows eco-friendly standards. Modular, durable furniture allows for long-term use and flexible reorganization.
