About The Entry

The Chin Hin headquarters reimagines the corporate environment as an experiential platform that serves as a conduit for brand values through a "Connected Continuity" approach. By moving beyond conventional office typologies, the design integrates the space's structural, design and information layers to create a seamless narrative journey. We see the workplace as a living system, it incorporates digital elements and modular systems, thus empowering the space to respond and evolve alongside the organisation’s growth, positioning the office as both an operational hub and a powerful brand manifestation.

The primary challenge was managing high spatial density within a 10-story corporate site, maximising usability without compromising comfort or clarity. Responding to this, our solution is a layered workplace strategy: shared areas are positioned between high-energy active, collaboration zones, and quiet, focused work environments. This clarity of zoning reduces congestion and spatial conflict, while allowing intuitive circulation and efficiency without compromising openness. At the same time, flexibility is embedded throughout to support evolving operational needs.

Reflecting the philosophy of "the higher we rise, the stronger our roots," a restrained palette of Fino Slate, double-glazed glass with fabric mesh, and mirror stretch ceilings creates a balance of solidity and transparency. Clean lines and rhythmic volumes emphasise visual continuity, while a signature sculptural spiral staircase serves as a physical manifestation of the corporate culture while signalling collective momentum and organic growth.

Sustainability is approached as a long-term commitment to stewardship. Nonetheless, beyond energy-efficient systems, the project prioritises human-centric social sustainability. High-density acoustic panels and metal cable rod shading enhance environmental quality and user well-being. Furthermore, by fostering open interaction and knowledge exchange within a resilient, adaptable framework, the design ensures the workplace remains future-ready while minimising its long-term resource footprint.
