The moment it aired, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End grabbed hearts around the world. It earned countless awards and overtook the previous reigning champion as the highest ranking series on My Anime List — a big deal in the community. When a series hits the ground running like this, fans need a collection that’s up for the journey.

Crunchyroll’s Part 2 Limited Edition would be the capstone of Season 1. Immersion drove every aspect of the design. We replicated the main character’s iconic suitcase, complete with leather texture and functional metal clasps. Beyond replication, we asked ourselves what our main character, Frieren, would pack inside it. Magic potions were considered, but we settled on her beloved grimoires. This guided the designs of the rigid box, filler box, and the 200-page tome of an art book.

We loaded it with generous pack-ins, including a sizable acrylic standee, seven gold-foil art boards featuring illustrations from the manga artist, and seven kiss-cut sticker sheets. Rainbow holograph was a must for the Part 2 Blu-ray, which tucks away three art cards. Fans who bought Part 1 will find that it fits right into the rigid box next to Part 2 for a complete look.

The series speaks through flower imagery, which we tucked into every corner. From an exclusive luggage tag to an Easter egg on the tray lining, we retell the tale of love that blossomed and went unseen.
