Born from collaborative discussions about digital exhaustion, Rhythm emerged from a shared experience in which quieter voices are often overshadowed during fast paced calls. Online platforms can unintentionally amplify power dynamics, revealing a deeper challenge in digital communication where subtle social signals are often lost. Rather than intrusive monitoring, the design explores an approach that makes these social cues perceptible, helping participants better sense one another and fostering a more inclusive environment.
At its center, the Rhythm Blob functions as an evolving visual form shaped by AI interpretation of conversational patterns, biometric signals, and self-reported energy levels. By translating subtle shifts in engagement into fluid light and motion, the interface allows participants to perceive collective states during meetings in real time. This restorative sensory layer supports emotional awareness and balance, encouraging more empathetic and coordinated communication for modern teams.
In addition to supporting traditional information exchange, Rhythm expands the focus of digital tools toward true synchrony. It redefines the digital meeting as a space for authentic human connection and collective resonance within digital-first workspaces, ensuring that the human element remains at the heart of professional collaboration.
