Oracle’s Singapore office is reimagined as a high-performance workplace that supports collaboration, flexibility, and user wellbeing, while retaining and reusing much of the existing interior. This adaptive reuse approach minimises waste and disruption, allowing the design to prioritise enhancing the everyday employee experience.
Guided by the concept “History of Possibilities,” the workplace reflects Oracle’s evolution as a technology leader. Brand identity is seamlessly integrated through colour, materiality, graphics, and spatial expression—embedded into the architecture rather than applied as decoration—creating a cohesive and authentic environment.
The layout is organised around a clear central circulation spine that improves wayfinding and connects collaboration zones, meeting suites, and work areas. A contrasting flooring strategy distinguishes shared and focused spaces, supporting clarity, movement, and efficient workflows. Existing layouts are retained where possible, while targeted interventions enhance acoustics, comfort, and flexibility.
Reception and shared areas are designed as welcoming, multifunctional spaces that encourage interaction and informal exchange. A variety of work settings—including open workstations, enclosed rooms, and collaborative zones—support diverse work styles and evolving team needs.
Sustainability is central to the design approach. By treating the existing workplace as a resource rather than a blank slate, the project reduces demolition, material use, and environmental impact. This strategy preserves the character of the original space while adapting it for contemporary use.
The design also strengthens cultural continuity, maintaining familiarity for users, while socially fostering inclusivity through improved spatial flow and shared environments. Overall, the project demonstrates how adaptive reuse, brand integration, and human-centred planning can deliver a sustainable, flexible, and future-ready workplace that enhances productivity, collaboration, and employee experience.
