Studio X transformed a 9,000 sqft bare-shell floor plate on the 37th floor of Singapore’s Millenia Tower into a high-performance headquarters for Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS). The design moves beyond the conventional corporate office to reflect the scale, ambition, and disciplined culture of one of the world’s leading maritime companies.
The workplace is organised around an efficient field of open workstations, punctuated by integrated breakout zones and a central “rotunda” circulation hub. Distinctive features include a professional-grade cycling training suite overlooking the Singapore skyline—complete with graphics of legendary climbs—and a gallery displaying shirts of elite sports teams within the EPS portfolio, including Atlético Madrid.
Sustainability and maritime heritage are embedded into the architecture through bespoke divider screens fabricated from reclaimed single-use plastic recovered from EPS vessels. The result is a workplace that not only supports a global workforce of over 7,000, but also expresses a culture of endurance, performance, and precision.
