About The Entry
This project is designed as a spiritual sanctuary for the city's backbone and elite—a place to "Find Tranquility in Nature amidst the Bustling City Center". Guided by the principle of "All-Age Inclusivity & Form Follows Space" and grounded in the core concept of "Urban Natural Habitation", it seamlessly blends the elegant proportions of French aesthetics, the exquisite craftsmanship of Italian light luxury, and the relaxed grace of Eastern refinement, achieving a harmonious symbiosis of diverse styles in one space.
Inspired by the flowing urban skyline, this project incorporates delicate metal inlays into warm, wooden cabinetry, with the rational texture of stone counterbalancing the softness of fabrics. This aesthetic dialogue between cool precision and warm tactility not only enriches visual and tactile layers but also echoes the synthesis of urban rationality and natural sensibility.
In terms of spatial layout, this project adopts an open-plan circulation route, integrating the living room, dining area, and open kitchen into a cohesive social hub. Paired with movable, low-center-of-gravity modular furniture, the space seamlessly transitions between social gatherings, family interactions, and personal moments, catering to the diverse needs of high-net-worth individuals in both daily life and guest entertaining scenarios.
With a compact 129-square-meter footprint, this project utilizes a strategy of maximizing hidden space efficiency. In the children's room, a custom-integrated bed, desk, and storage unit frees up valuable floor space for growth and play. In the master bedroom, a translucent glass-clad wardrobe activates corner zones and visually extends the space, achieving a balance between aesthetic integrity and functional efficiency.
Moving away from a single central light source, this project introduces a three-tier lighting system (ambient, task, and accent) with light effects varying with time and mood, transforming lighting into an artistic medium that shapes the spatial atmosphere. This project also merges Nanning's local cultural heritage alongside contemporary artworks, creating an ideal living space that accommodates diverse lifestyles while possessing profound cultural depth.
