Blossoms and the Sanctuary is realized at the Weiwuying Concert Hall, transforming Asia’s largest pipe organ into a living sonic architecture and a museum in generation. It establishes a new benchmark for contemporary Gesamtkunstwerk: when music, painting, and architecture no longer coexist as parallel elements but operate within a single real-time generative system, space itself becomes the work. Grounded in the musical structures of Tyzen Hsiao’s Organ Prelude and White Peony, the project translates the visual language of Hui-Tung Chen’s cathedral imagery andHsiang-Yin Chen’s peony paintings into a distinctly Taiwanese yet globally resonant cultural model. Through ITRI’s AI-based image extension and super-resolution reconstruction, static canvases are released into 8K moving visual forms, entering the dimensions of time, motion, and spatial presence. A TouchDesigner-centered engine links organ audio, airflow, and computational processes in real time, while Gaussian Splatting and near-zero-latency transmission transform acoustic waves into fluid volumetric light fields. Within this framework, visuals are no longer background, architecture is no longer a container, and music is no longer merely performed content—it becomes the force that generates space. More than a performance, this project is a replicable, scalable, and internationally transferable methodology for interdisciplinary creation. It redefines the role of conceptual design in performance and sets a new global benchmark for the future of immersive cultural design.
