About The Entry
The Zhenzhen Hall breaks away from the lifeless, data-heavy timelines common in traditional corporate halls. Instead, it reimagines over four decades of Kaiyuan Group’s legacy as a living odyssey, unfolding across a 130-meter journey that breathes life into history.
The design meticulously weaves the visitor’s path through the space, using gentle, obtuse transitions to soften spatial rigidity. This creates a psychological cadence that oscillates between tension and release. As visitors move through the space, the shifting perspectives feel like turning the pages of a three-dimensional epic, tracing a trajectory from the grit of frontier reclamation to the pride of industrial devotion.
The materials chosen for this project are more than just finishes; they are the emotional heartbeat of the brand. Guided by a commitment to “Integrity and Authenticity,” the design plays with high-contrast textures: the cold strength of metal is softened by the inner glow of resin, and the grounded weight of stone is lifted by the ethereal play of light. It is a tactile metaphor for a company that is both unyielding and adaptable. This comes to life in the way light and texture merge—where edge-lit resin and backlit typography create a luminous visual language. This dance of shadow and light does more than decorate; it pulses with energy, turning every display wall into a vivid testament to the group’s enduring spirit.
Technology is never treated as a loud, flashy gimmick; it is an intuitive whisper woven into the cultural fabric of the space. Digital tools are hidden in plain sight, anchored by tradition. For instance, inquiry screens are nested within “book spine” structures, and electronic interfaces are built into the silhouettes of traditional scholars’ desks. By grounding the space in culture and using technology as a bridge, the pavilion never feels like an impersonal, hollow display hall. Instead, it becomes a richly layered, engaging environment, where the gravity of the past meets the vitality of the present.
