ANTA FOLD-Σ is a harmonious chord of structure and strength, translating Eastern folding philosophy and Western structural mechanics into product language. Its design draws inspiration from the classic Waterbomb origami pattern, renowned for its negative Poisson effect and multidirectional deformation capabilities. Beyond symbolic meaning, this geometry naturally meets stability requirements: inward compression, directional control, and predictable deformation paths. The sole outline resembles the Greek letter Σ (Sigma), symbolizing harmony, balance, and structural integrity. ANTA FOLD-Σ represents not just stability but the precise intersection of art and science.

Unlike traditional foam relying on density and elasticity, it achieves precise mechanical response through a multi-axis folding system:

Lateral negative Poisson contraction: ensures stable landings

Vertical compression channels: provide dynamic cushioning

Vertical crease transitions: optimize forward propulsion

Terrain-adaptive units: accommodate small ground irregularities

It utilizes a co-molding injection process that seamlessly fuses the TPU rocker support plate with the midsole material within the mold, forming a single, unified structural unit. This process eliminates the traditional glue application step, removing the risk of delamination often associated with bonded or assembled constructions.  The integrated design allows the TPU support plate to naturally guide the foot's rolling motion according to the human gait, providing a smooth transition from landing to push-off. The rocker support structure helps optimize transition efficiency throughout the gait cycle, reducing the load on the ankle joints and the plantar surface, making each stride smoother and more energy-efficient, thereby helping runners maintain their cadence and rhythm over long distances.

This outsole is constructed from high-durability TPU material and features a unique Waterbomb geometric tread pattern. This biomimetic structure utilizes precise convex and concave geometric shapes that effectively penetrate the water film upon ground contact, rapidly dispersing moisture from the interface. The specialized tread design further enhances water drainage, delivering reliable traction on wet and slippery surfaces. The multi-directional geometric pattern also enhances flexibility and flexure for natural and smooth gait transition.
