This resort hotel is designed to offer a quiet escape within the city. By combining natural materials with contemporary design, it introduces a slower, more relaxed way of living into the fast-paced city.

The hotel takes inspiration from the Eastern idea of a “woodland mansion.” Natural materials such as red bricks, solid wood, and stones are used throughout the space to create a warm and natural atmosphere. Expansive glass curtain walls open onto lush greenery, seamlessly connecting interior and outdoor spaces, so the architecture feels fully integrated with nature. Light flows through the louvered partitions, casting changing light and shadow across the rooms and making the space feel more dynamic.

Following a Bauhaus style, the hotel uses black-and-white checkerboard floors, dark matte tiles, and metal-framed furniture to establish a serene atmosphere. Artistic paintings, handcrafted ceramics, and a wall of vinyl records add an artistic flair. The color scheme is anchored in earthy tones, with deep greens echoing plants, light blues mirroring the river views, and vintage browns serving as visual accents, creating a tranquil and high-end forest-style environment.

The layout follows the principles of separating active and quiet zones, making the most of views, and ensuring graded privacy. Guest rooms and public leisure areas are positioned along the riverside to take full advantage of the scenic views, while back of house and the multifunctional activity area are set away from the lobby, balancing public access with private comfort. The multifunctional activity area can be used for weddings, salons, or meetings, enhancing space efficiency. The city-view restaurant and café bring a sense of ritual to daily life, while the fire pit courtyard extends the building into nature, offering a tranquil retreat for the mind and spirit.
