Facade Lighting Design for IBP HongQiao Upper Town

With a total construction area of approximately 450,000 square meters, the project boasts a continuous 1,050-meter facade with "pineapple-shaped" special-shaped folded curtain walls. Its lighting design follows the strategy of "people-oriented, light and shadow narrated by data", innovatively integrating real-time speed data of Beizhai Elevated Road to create three dynamic interactive modes, achieving the dual functions of "urban rhythm billboard" and "congestion mood regulator". Adopting an integrated curtain wall layout, each curtain wall unit serves as an independent light and shadow unit. Via an intelligent control system, it presents three lighting effects—static, slight movement and rhythm—based on vehicle speed, balancing aesthetic expression, human factor experience and urban service value, and becoming a benchmark for smart city lighting innovation.
