Chaoguan Pinglan Mansion

This project is located in Phase II of Qianjiang New Town, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, with a landscape area of 32,272 ㎡. Urban residents are caught up in a fast-paced lifestyle, struggling to balance bustling city life with tranquil moments. Holiday getaways require long-distance travel, while daily life lacks age-inclusive relaxing spaces free from digital distractions. Sports amenities are scarce, and homes merely serve as dwellings, failing to satisfy people’s physical and mental restorative needs.

Therefore, guided by the design concept of “Five-Layer Holiday” and inspired by vertical island landscapes, the site sits close to MixC and Raffles City, offering residents easy access to urban vibrancy alongside inner serenity. A roughly 2,000-sq-m sports park is created, featuring the community’s exclusive tennis court in this district and a premium all-age fitness system. The entrance corridor integrates water features to form a hotel-style home-coming sequence. Instead of rigidly staged holiday scenery, we embed a laid-back atmosphere into the fabric of the residential compound and bring resort-grade experience into everyday life.

Residents no longer need to travel to remote islands for escape. Mental relaxation and restoration start right at their doorstep. Returning home becomes a spiritual healing journey. Occupants of all ages gain spaces for exercise and quiet contemplation. The design reshapes urban daily rhythms and fulfills the residential vision: attaining inner holiday bliss without escaping the city.
