About The Entry
Drawing on the spatial arrangement of vertical stage speakers, this Party Speaker takes a different approach to the conventional single-enclosure layout. The product mounts the mid- and high-frequency units on pivoting arms on both sides of the main body, reinterpreting the vertical arrangement of stage speakers through a pivot mechanism as a laterally deployable configuration. The arms fold back against the cabinet for storage and open to both sides during use, preserving an integrated form while widening the soundstage. The product is defined by a square-tower silhouette that tapers toward the top, with rounded corners softening its rectilinear profile and a slight tilt facilitating operation. The broader base lowers the center of gravity, helping stabilize the product when the side arms are deployed. Folding brackets separate the side-mounted mid- and high-frequency units from the lower subwoofer section. When folded, the arms align with the enclosure to preserve the overall silhouette; when deployed, they extend laterally to create a wider horizontal composition. Light strips on the front of each speaker improve visibility outdoors at night. The top control area is organized by function, with larger cylindrical buttons for frequently used controls, while an integrated handle maintains visual continuity. A black body, orange side accents, and an overall metallic appearance give the speaker a distinctive outdoor visual identity. Conventional box-style Party speakers concentrate their audio units within a single enclosure. This product places the mid- and high-frequency units on foldable side arms, separating them from the lower subwoofer section. When deployed, the arms adapt to different height and angle requirements; when both arms are extended horizontally, they create the widest surround sound field. The sustainability approach centers on a replaceable battery and foldable structure. The detachable battery can be replaced independently, allowing the main speaker body to remain in use if the battery degrades or is damaged. The mid- and high-frequency speaker arms fold back along the enclosure to create a more compact form, reducing the packaging volume and transport space required per unit.
