Vanke Dalian Zhongshan Metropolis Modern Life Museum

Located in the Shanghai Road, Zhongshan Square, the most historical, fashionable and commercial area in Dalian, this project is a modern sales office featuring real-life content, rich expressions, distinctive product attributes to create immersive experiences. Extracting the vital and chic vibe of the surrounding blocks as elements, the design team selects “Socialize&Share”, “Art&Fashion” and “Life&Dream” as themes to elaborately design various scenes.

The “Socialize&Share” theme area is composed of three main functional zones, namely “Chillya Bar”, “Seasons Garden”, “Jungle Cultural and Creative Market”, the three areas that guests first experience when entering the Metropolis Zhongshan Modern Life Museum. The Chillya Bar is elegant and chic; Seasons Garden is natural and fresh, and Jungle Cultural and Creative Market is simple yet graceful. These constitute a young functional zone with vitality, suitable for socialization and taking photos. The designers, starting from the aspect of modern youth, interpret their understanding of and tributes to Vanke’s living culture and Zhongshan Square.

The “Art&Fashion” theme area is consisted of “Art-V Art Gallery” and “Flagrance Library”, which has blended in with the trendy and fashionable functions of art saloon, fashion flash mob and flagrance library. This aims to provide proprietors with a functional zone exceeding spatial limits where they can revel in the majestic art life. This place further extends and merges the concept of recreation and fashion. Even if don’t travel too far, they can still relish their dreams and goals in this utopia.

“Life&Dream” theme area covers three areas: “City Lights” showroom, “Cosmetics Mater” and “Parent-child Garden” studio, the focus of which is the integration of “dream” and “life”. “City Lights” showroom is the team’s expression of wonderful future lives; the decoration of “Cosmetics Mater” demonstrates the living scenes of the fusion of life and work, which interprets the lifestyles of the new freelancers created by the Internet. While the “Parent-child Garden” showcases the living scenarios of parents and children. With growth, education and aesthetics as the design principles, some wabi-sabi elements are incorporated under the minimalist tone to increase the literary atmosphere and enhance the level and style of the space.
