EMPRO Beauty & Cosmetic Workshop

The beauty and cosmetics industry has always been an indispensable relationship with art and design. The project is a cosmetics workshop named Empro located in the megamall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor, Malaysia, designed by FSD Interior Consultant Sdn Bhd. As Malaysia's leading and popular brand in the cosmetics industry, Empro strives to provide a great makeup service while delivering an artistic atmosphere and comfortable service area. The design concept was inspired by the gardens and galleries, therefore the design applied a variety of colorful and fancy totem designs, plant decorations, abstract art paintings, and other elements. Due to the limitation of space of the workshop, the designer from FSD cleverly divided the space into three areas, each area is matched with different design elements, and it expresses and gives a different feeling from different angles of viewing. In addition, on the outside of the workshop, a particularly prominent camera hotspot is cleverly designed, with an eye-catching yellow background and a brown leather sofa which becomes a popular highlight of the workshop.
