Crimson Night

Located in the hub of Taipei City and hidden on the 2nd floor of a 40-year-old apartment, it’s a newly-opened bistro with its interior in bold crimson, and is ready to lift the curtain for nightlife.

As having the elements like floors paved in black and white diamonds, proportional embellishment in cozy red, and few shiny golden lines, the bistro is designed as the combination of American retro and modernism to create the sense of enthusiasm, delicateness and smoothness in order to be consistent with this prosperous and creative city.

Looking from different heights and angles, you can experience vibrant interaction between multiple materials, lights and shadows. We utilize wooden grain and metallic grey as the base element of the space, dark glass to reflect a view from interior to exterior and marble surface to reinforce the sense of the space.

Arched wine cabinets look more glamorous under spotlight and huge windows show a sophisticated taste of the interior space integrating into an exterior view of Taipei city.

The main concept of this project is to bring the enthusiasm of American aesthetics into the space and create a plentiful visual feast and then to offer every diner an unforgettable spatial experience while they are having a meal or a drink.
