The Headquarters Of Longfor Chongqing

The Headquarters Office Building of Longfor Group Holdings Limited (Chongqing) stands in the thriving Lijia business district of Liangjiang New Area, signifying the Group's ambition for a new round of development.

The whole project is to upgrade its former commercial building to an office building. In the conceptual phase, J&A tries to make full use of the original building space, and blend the regional features of Chongqing into it, and at the same time, fully express the strategic vision for moving forward of the Group through creative design. To this end, it extracts the letter "L" in the new logo of the Group, and through combination and extension, each courtyard is linked together, which is full of culture of its own.

Considering the narrow space at the north end of the building, J&A takes inspiration from the current development trend of the Group and Chongqing and a forest of modern buildings of the city. As a result, at the end of the north courtyard, a semi-permeable decorative wall composed of gray and white aluminum grille and luminous acrylic is erected to create a miniature of the city with a lot of buildings. In this way, it shows the Group's uniqueness and presents a creative and impressive visual effect.

The south courtyard after removing the escalator passage of the original building and installing a light glass-and-steel roof becomes more spacious and extremely rich in light and shade effects. Through the floor-to-ceiling glass curtain, people can have a wonderful view over the Longtang Lake. The columns wrapped with greenery, together with the ventilation integration design at the top, allow the area to fully interact with natural elements. Using creative design to create a diverse and ecological space, J&A is working to make the headquarter office building geographically distinctive, yet green, healthy, open and shared.
