Landscape Design of FUNWORLD, Rudong

The project construction land is located in the new urban area of Rudong County, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, which is in the period of rising value. It belongs to the first echelon of urban plate development and is the first choice for commercial office in the future.

This design combines the regional advantages of Rudong, makes full use of the advantages of the site adjacent to the Yellow River and Canal, integrates it with the modern style of architecture, deduces the regional concept of modern waterside folk houses, and strives to create the Jiangnan landscape of Rudong under the collision of tradition and modernity, so as to provide colorful scene experience for the city.

When the past and modern are interdependent and integrated, the city and art are no longer clear-cut. The designer expects to deduce a new cultural mark for the city in a modern way. Awaken the sleeping place spirit, take the "disappeared Rudong folk custom" as the site carrier, shape the "ideal 18 scenes", and open up a new state of mind for the hurried urban life.

The commercial block is connected with the demonstration area, taking water as the source to create a commercial landscape with boats as the cultural carrier. Combined with business forms, Oriental elements are extracted and integrated with site functions. The landscape combines the characteristic central water street, main commercial square, children's sports theme activity venue, dynamic commercial waterfront, commercial market, culture and art exhibition, etc. to create an artistic and interactive commercial space.

The pictures in the scroll can be divided into five acts: misty rain in Jiangnan, the Moon-like Sandbank, Picking Ling in Spring, Fish Viewing at the Flower Port, Dew Lotus. The life scene reveals the poetic flavor of "misty rain in Jiangnan" and reflects the life charm of Rudong people.
