CRCC · Wutong Mansion Sales Center, Jinan

This property sales center is designed by drawing on the dynamism and ocherous color of the Yellow River, providing a spatial experience of visiting an art gallery. In addition, the unique ceramic art originating in Jinan, where the project is situated, has been innovatively interpreted here.
A poetic scene of “flowing, splashing water” is created, which sets the tone of the whole space.
As visitors enter the space, a ceramic installation on the wall firstly comes into view, which vividly yet abstractly reproduces the mighty Yellow River with its hand-made plicated texture and fluid form.
To fuse “water” elements into the space, the designers customized crystal pendent lamps and a glass-overlaid bench, which reflects the warm light and shadows.
Moreover, the design team created an art installation by deconstructing and recombining some local representative cultural buildings in Jinan, such as a German-style architecture that carries past memories, a museum completed in the 20th century that features traditional Chinese charm, and the International Conference and Exhibition Center which shows international style and the spirit of the 21 century. Combining technical aesthetics and artistic value, this work subtly responds to local culture and the essences of local ancient and modern buildings.
