BARUN Perle Noire

Joseph-Stephane and his wife Mara, leaders and owners of the BARUN winery, are renowned wine and sparkling wine producers from the Krašić area near Zagreb. Growing up in France, Joseph-Stephane adopted the manners and meticulousness that he now fully implements in the production of his products, thus creating a unique and recognizable style.

Perle Noire is a limited and exclusive series of black sparkling wines. The very name "Perle Noire" clearly indicates black sparkling wine, produced using the original traditional French method.

As all BARUN winery products visually reflect the typically refined and elegantly rich French style, inspired by the luxurious and chic life of the French nobility from the 18th century, we decided to make Perle Noire in the same style. The idea was to present the main label as a brooch / fr. broche, a luxurious fashion detail that historically had the function of a buckle on the clothing of the nobles, but also as a sign of prestige and power. With a fine beaded material and a combination of grey shades and black color, as well as meticulous finishing touches such as blind and foil printing, we wanted to emphasize complexity and precision on the one hand, and luxury and a touch of mysticism on the other. Luxury has been shown in fine ornaments and frames, and a black bead in the middle. We have highlighted the name of the brand and product on the smaller neck label so that they do not spoil the look of the brooch itself. With the black ribbon applied to the neck of the bottle, we further visually moved away from the "already seen".
