Small Trades, Zeus + Δione Resort ‘24 Collection

The Greek brand Zeus + Dione, presented the “Resort 24” collection, in an outdoor unique location at the port of Piraeus with the background of the ship Hellas Liberty - a floating museum from the one side and the old pier with the cargo cranes on the other

Soft, diffused as well as sharp lighting was focused to illuminate the runway and showcase the models and their attire. Along the runway edges, spotlights were adjusted to bring out all the details as well as the textures of the clothes. Interesting diagonal shadows of their bodies were casting on the floor creating a repetitive pattern as the models walk through the catwalk. Along with the movement of the models and the original music, dynamic lighting effects were enhanced as for example changes in intensity, color movement and and pace during key moments of the show. The beams of light were visible as a smoke machine was used to demarcate the space and to create an atmosphere full of mystery, as if the models are coming through a timeless space. Backlighting was utilised to outline the models and add depth to their presence on the catwalk. The rest of the landscape was also lit with a warm color temperature in some parts in order to create an interesting contrast and to enhance the atmosphere. There was also lighting coming from the inside of the abandoned towers of the cranes as if they have been revived just for this show.

The lighting design for this fashion show was designed in order to create a balance and an harmony between fashion, nature and the dystopian scenic that took place, creating an unforgettable and ethereal experience.
