The spatial tonality of the project is characterized by low color saturation, with a clever positioning of stone, hardwood, and tawny glass. A living space for total relaxation of the body, the mind and the spirit is thus created, which is indeed thoughtful and vital to an owner who lives a fast-paced life working in the high-tech industry. The sculpture and marble wall at the entrance make for a visual vastness that partakes of magnificence. Elements of curves cleverly modify and reduce the sense of oppression by the beam across the ceiling of the living room without curtailing the vaulted ceiling. Diverse materials are used to form lines of the ceiling, while curves smoothly connect each section and contribute to consistency. Concealed inside the curved showcases is a space for storage, perfectly combining the important function of storage and visual arrangement. The remodeled layout facilitates a smooth, easy flow. The old dim dining area is now transformed by the designer using a glass sliding door, thereby allowing light to come in. The door to the guest bathroom is modified by the grille wall of the dining room, while maintaining pleasant appearance and perfect concealment. Besides, the dining area is equipped with a bar counter, with a metal chandelier that adds modernity to it. The former maid room is converted into a sauna chamber, making the enjoyment at home more gratifying and irreplaceable. The master room has a huge headboard that can be opened for storage and covers the entire window, so that the wall gives a sense of wholeness and visual extension. The lighting and natural light is integrated based on the idea of smart living. Thus the owner can control remotely the curtains and set a lighting scenario—a thoughtful design that makes the place even more desirable. The design is carefully worked out to meet various needs in daily life, from the planning and layout of each section, to the color scheme of different materials and the user-friendly details. The vastness of the space is highlighted, while the distinct delicate texture of the sphere is accentuated.
