Sunset house was a project handled by our multi disciplinary team where we worked in synergy to deliver the project through our Architecture, Structural Engineering and Interior Design affiliates. The Architecture was designed to be contemporary, timeless and subtle. Patiently waiting for time to pass on by and looking forever current. The interior design of the house however was designed such that it was a reflection of the home owner's personality and lifestyle, one that is tastefully eclectic and unique.

The layout ensured that there was a through and through visual connection from the entrance to the rear of the plot. This created a seamless visual connection and an impression of grandeur upon entry. The design journey moving from the more public space slowly into the more private spaces feels like a natural experience one would go through when getting to know the home owners.

The living area being the first space that greets any visitors has a high volume ceiling and contemporary luxury design approach with a very neutral yet warm and welcoming colour palette. It is like a prelude to the real personalities behind the house. The first hint of the owners larger than life personalities would be the powder room. A bold and dark colour scheme which starkly contrasts that of the living room, gives the space a sense of mystery yet paired with comforting retreat. The dining room for family and entertaining guests alike, is more emboldened with a dark navy blue feature wall with brass accents, feature crystal chandelier and a large art piece with bold colours with outdoor plants as a backdrop. The dining space is perfect for entertainment and enjoying a good meal with family and friends.

The entertainment room on the attic floor was designed within the constraints of the roof spring line. The feature ceiling has a slight curve which was introduced to create a more gradual transition and multiple play of layers and organic forms created a visually interactive outcome. The space was designed to be playful and cozy at the same time.
