JIANGNANLI Villa（江南里别墅庭院）

The project area is close to historical and cultural blocks, with perfect surrounding real estate and business districts and good landscape atmosphere. It has distinctly traditional Chinese architectural features .So it also makes history and reality, culture and life are intertwined. So location conditions like we mentioned have created its characteristics of "hiding in the city". In this expensive prime location in the city center, there are gardens, forests and Chinese style residences. This is another version of Su Dongpo's "when you open the door and become an official, you will face the city above; when you close the door and retire, you will look down under the forest". In order to retain the pleasant spatial scale of traditional residential space, and cultivate the sense of domain and belonging of residents through the combination of courtyard and architecture. In the design process, the designer made an in-depth investigation and Research on the spatial level, sequence, scale, user behavior and other factors of Chinese traditional architecture, took the traditional private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River as a reference, and strive to properly restore and reproduce the classical elegance in the design. While using the abundant spatial experience of traditional elements, combined with modern gardening techniques, integrate the functional space required by modern people to create the most exquisite, elegant and artistic conception villa garden landscape.
