The beginning of the design originated from the change of living habits after the change of generations. The owner lived in this house from childhood to adulthood and now he has established his own family. The original interior decoration is still the same as it was 45 years ago. In the process of communicating with the owner, the reconfiguration of the spatial pattern and the hardware facilities must keep up with the pace of modernization.

After the actual exploration and measurement, several major problems were found, the biggest of which was light and ventilation. Because of the excessive decoration, the window lighting could not be introduced into the depth of the room and the ventilation was poor.

When starting the floor plan, keep the original layout as much as possible without making major adjustments, so that the owner does not have to re-adapt to the new space in terms of living. And improve the interaction between space and space, such as the combined room can lead to the dining room or the master bedroom, so that the natural light can be introduced into the interior of the room. At the same time, unnecessary decoration is reduced around the windows, and hidden full heat exchangers are added.

The girders on the ceiling that run through the interior space are not covered completely to retain the most original structure, and indirect lighting is added on both sides of the girders to make the original strange beam position become the most special existence in this space.
