OuDe Lighting Office

“Light up your light” is a compound space for a lighting design company and a children culinary studio. Designed to be a lighting lab, the space consists of two parts. One part is embraced by cold colors and multiple experimental lights and lighting exhibitions are displayed in the space, such as track lights, customized large linear lights, stretched-ceiling system that could change color temperature for the room, light lifting system, and lighting control system. Many elements are included in the place for the sake of flexibility and possible adjustments. Things like pegboards, galvanized sheets, and low-density fiberboard allow people to easily communicate with others as they can pin an idea or stick a note to the boards at anytime. In addition, the existence of a wide variety of lights and lamps prepares a perfect ground for designers and clients to display, discuss, and challenge each other’s creativity.

The other part is composed by a children culinary studio and a multifunctional meeting room. This place is a compound buffer zone, featuring wooden materials, warm colors, and furniture that is mobile as wheels are attached to chairs and tables.

The design vision is to create a place full of fun, warmth, and urban aesthetics to inspire people to be more passionate about designing and living.
