The House of Blossom and Greenery

In this project, many natural elements such as trees, flowers, shrubs, lawns, and water features are used to create the building’s appearance, allowing occupants to sense the comfort unveiled from the landscape, reflecting the coexistence of humanities and nature. Using geometric lines, shapes, and other elements deliver a modern architectural aesthetic style. The designer sets the building in a brown tone and arranges the white-patterned surface as the main visual focus of the architecture. The structure blends with heaven and earth, building a beautiful residence with pleasant scenery. The designer concentrates his initiation on the beauty of the landscape and emphasizes the user’s safety. Therefore, there are separate entrances and exits for cars, locomotives, and pedestrians to assure the resident’s safety and maintain the architectural beauty. At the opening of the driveway, the designer selects horse-tying stones, one high and one low, to stand on the left side; glass bricks are stacked on the right side, making the space look wider by creating a sense of extension. The top of the driveway is covered with a square dish-shaped grille, and the surrounding draped lantana creates a picture of butterflies flying between the flowers. Furthermore, at the entrance where trees and osmanthus bamboos are planted on the other side, the scene of light and shadow appearing among the branches discloses a poetic beauty. The moving line is guided through the vision along the triangular lines and shapes of the pavement and flower stand. Stepping into the vestibule space, one will find the pool space carved out through neat linear divisions. The designer places curved artworks on the water, combining with the waterscape that sometimes ripples and sometimes stops, creating a diverse landscape form. When residents, relatives, and friends stop by to chat and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the courtyard, the resonance of humanistic aesthetics is embraced. The theme of simple lines is extended to the rear door, and the metal grille is used as a wall to reduce the visual heaviness. And through the criss-cross grid design, a little tree and shrubs are embellished to create a natural portrait.
