Driven by the idea of taking urban mobility to a new level, we have designed an e-bike that is specially adapted to graveling. During the development process, we did not only take into account the user's needs in terms of functionality, performance and safety, but also placed great emphasis on an aesthetic design and a sustainable value chain with regional roots. In designing our Waldwiesel.E, we pushed the envelope with metallurgical 3D printing to create a balance between form, function, lightweight construction and material. The use of 3D printing allowed us to develop an unprecedented steel frame design. The special rear frame elastically cushions the rear wheel and creates a new kind of riding comfort, as any unevenness can be compensated. Thanks to the targeted optimization of the 3D-printed components, it was also possible to drastically reduce the system weight.

The world's first 3D-printed URWAHN Gravel e-bike bristles with 40 Nm of torque at the rear wheel and makes many a squirrel looks old. The elastic steel frame, completely made in Germany, is the ideal companion for the next adventure. The frame bending guarantees comfort and efficient riding. The battery is integrated into the down tube with a range of up to 80km. At only 14.8 kg, the Waldwiesel.E is also one of the lightest gravel e-bikes on the market.

Made in Germany
With our "FAIR FRAME" predicate we want to sensitize the bicycle industry and also society for the use of fairly manufactured and traded products. Our steel frame proves to be a venerable and durable pioneer. Produced entirely in Germany, it is subject to a sustainable materials policy. The use of the original material steel favours above all the recycling of materials, as it is much easier to process, repair and recycle than carbon and aluminium. In the event of damage, steel can be melted down as a valuable material and reused. In this way we try to close the product life cycle.
