“If I was not at home, that is, in the coffee shop; if I'm not in a cafe, that is, on the way to the cafe." This quote by the noted Austrian writer Peter Altenberg inspired this public facilities design project to create a beautiful living scene. The designer has created a magnificent palace-like and classical building by applying modern building materials and techniques. Upon entering the foyer, one will be greeted by the crystal chandeliers reflecting in the ample space and the marble tiles, glass partitions, and metal materials orchestrating with each other, making the hall so attractively dazzling and glittering. Extending inward to the staircase entrance, a pair of black and gold statues stand on either side of the staircase holding lamps and lanterns, with antique bronze carved handrails and oil paintings, creating a gorgeous and classical aesthetic. In the lobby, the designer also places a chandelier dangling in the center, and the light emanating from the chandelier shines all around, generating a golden visual sensation. In the gleaming cafe area, the space is illuminated with warm lights to reveal high-end luxury. On top of that, the burgundy fabric and leather chairs are chosen to create a sense of layering through the same color scheme and material variations. The mirrored ceiling delivers visual extension and expansiveness as one walks toward the lounge. Besides, the use of leather and velvet furnishings creates a distinguished atmosphere. Fascinatingly, the mirrored top and walls continue to the gym, while the knotted grille window sill creates penetration and redefines the interior layout. Entering the dining room with multiple arched windows, residents will enjoy a comfortable and tranquil atmosphere when looking at the view. A chandelier with a pure color scheme creates an elegant and extraordinary visual experience. Upstairs, with brown as the primary spatial focus, the study is transformed by shades, textures, and shapes to generate multiple layers. The wood and marble materials are cleverly added to the space to reveal a sense of tranquility and stability, allowing people to immerse themselves in books and literature.
