After a thorough discussion between the designer and the homeowner, a minimalist style was well executed in the residential space. Besides, the designer selects wood materials to develop a simple and neat living style. The black and white Chinese painting is cleverly placed to eliminate over-the-top decorations and offer the dwellers a spacious corner to interact and bond. On top of that, the large white background wall peacefully harmonizes with the light and the shadow. Overall, the combination of wood, glass, and metal textures brings out the rationality and sentiment of the entire living space. The black mosaic wall tiles continue the greenery with plant patterns, and a few plants were placed along the outdoor garden toward the interior. On the other hand, the wood latticework ceiling is arranged to offer a natural freshness. As soon as entering the living room, one will be greeted by the vibrant flowers and plants outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, which welcome the sunshine and greenery and give off a fresh and pleasant vibe. Moreover, white, black, and light brown set as the main color scheme by the designer, and blue and orange furniture are used to liven up the impression of the space. Interestingly, the designer’s addition of a hanging fireplace integrates into the room’s color scheme to present a gorgeous view. The dwellers will stay warm around the fireplace when winter comes; it is soothing and relaxing for the body and soul. Upstairs, light color tones are used as the main color scheme to soften the nature of the space. Windows are installed in different directions to introduce natural light, creating a bright and airy interior. In the living room, a few dark brown objects are placed on defining the balance, and a gray carpet is chosen as a transitional color to make the shades compatible with each other.
