Filled with natural materials like simple and rustic woods and stones, a space with natural tones is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. After all, home is not just a quiet castle. It is also a personal sanctuary. Warm light intensifies warm color schemes. A shimmering light oozes soothing vibes that allow the house owner to feel at home. The original closed floor plan is associated with poor lighting. To allow the maximum amount of natural light to flow through rooms, the semi-open floor plan provides an unobstructed view of the house and also maintains privacy.

Inspired by the quiet and secluded mountain “forests”, the house features authentic and natural materials to create a warm and elegant space. With marble and natural veneer as the base, glass, mirror and other media create a view with wispy clouds flowing along the wind. Metallic accents reflect warm light source in the canopy and add tranquility and energy to the room, just like beams of golden sunlight radiate from the early morning sun. The overlapping and echoing of heterogeneous materials fully interpret the landscape and ambiance of mountain forests. A soothing and relaxing view in the house is created.

Upon entering the room, the wooden grilles are linked to the gray marble wall to open up the main view. In order to eliminate the oppressive feeling of volume after entering, dark brown wood grains are inlaid in the middle of the grilles to give the space the breathing room. While the curved edge is placed at the surface of different height to soften the sense of restraint and form a smooth visual line. The main TV wall with bursting gray stone patterns reveals a low-profile luxury. The two sides of the main TV wall are accompanied by warm white storage cabinets, hence balancing the rigid texture. The upper part is made up of iron display shelves, while light sources are buried inside, simultaneously restraining the tension of the exuberant stone and creating a harmonious view in a restrained manner.
