This is a new modernized outlet for China Merchants Bank, whose design language is themed on technology and humanity. Based on the concept of openness and inclusiveness, both the materials and the design techniques adopted show a sense of affinity to bridge the estrangement between customers and the interior space.
In classical Chinese architecture, the window is often denoted by a square, which symbolizes security and stability. Such a geometric shape is conducive to building trust. Therefore, this project takes the square as the architectural core and the visual focus to build a reliable image, thereby conveying its openness and friendliness to customers in both visual and mental ways.
The project combines wood, leather, glass and light harmoniously, paired with the black borders and the contrasting brand colors, creating a cozy and soothing ambiance. The grains of wood and leather exude a special tone that echos the lighting effect of 5500K color temperature, forming a relaxing space for people to enjoy communication. Accordingly, this new bank outlet becomes a place suitable for daily socializing and leisure rather than just transaction, which interprets the theme of technology and humanity.
In terms of the spatial layout, it is divided into several functional areas to cover various usages and increase the spatial level. By virtue of the scientifically designed spatial layout, the moving lines inside are optimized to bridge the estrangement between customers and the interior space, not only highlighting the basic service attributes but also creating a relaxing ambiance with humanistic care.
