The design team use an undulating natural topography in the direction facing the square to lessen the impact of the building volume on the surroundings. In addition, a portion of the area is pushed below, and a roof boardwalk connects the interior and outdoor areas, creating a separate network of public spaces that incorporates guests' movements and demeanor into the architectural painting scene. The structure as a whole exhibits the traditional Shaoxing old architecture colors of black, white, and gray. The smooth and open lines, while showing the traditional cultural style, give the impression of a freehand painted landscape with "distinct ambitions and diverse customs."

In order to achieve the aesthetic perfection of "although it is made by man, it should follow the nature," the essence of Oriental aesthetics is the "unity of man and nature," which is accomplished through emotional communication with the "image" and the creation of a comprehensive "artistic conception." The designer converts every piece into a plain, white geometric graphic and begins every transition with a spare picture. The design must not only adhere to Xu Wei's aesthetic idea of "real color," but incorporate the historical progression, demonstrating the width of heaven and earth with a square inch of land.

As for the distribution and function of the area, the overall design is similar to Xu Wei's "anti-platform pavilion body", which is meaningless and strange. The transparent ground floor connects both sides of the exhibition halls and the north and the south square. Thanks to the changing light and shadow, as well as the huge transparent glass, the whole space is connected in harmony. Here, a splendid picture of time is unfolding, bringing our memory back to the past.

Taking inspiration from Xu Wei’s painting, the designers set up an internal courtyard on both sides of the layer, ensuring the space and the transparency of room one the one hand, and adhering to the design idea. For example, landscape architecture is used into the interior framework system, providing visitors more opportunities to explore the mastery of nature.
