AVISA Bali Chapel

Avisa Bali Chapel is an innovative chapel part of Avisa Spa Retreat management. Located in less than a hundred kilometer from its main building, it is designed for couple to say their vow at open architecture that surrounded by nothing but seas. It consist of two wings, each for groom and bride sides, which then meet up at the center bridge. The couple are welcomed by an optical illusion of heart image from deconstructed architecture form and free the birds from the podium.



Deconstructed to be constructed. Designer puts the art of complication in fine details through architecture to create a new design tendency. Geometrical form and structure are exploded then twisted in order to create visual movement on non moving object. It is then arranged accurately to form an optical illusion of heart image. A revolutionary chapel with depth meaning in every way.



Avisa Bali Chapel is designed for destination ceremony for wedding vow. It is accessible from a single passage between rocks that defines as everyone are coming from the same road. It then breaks down to intersection, left side and right side for each bride and groom sections that leads to separated buildings. These two storey building functioned as seating area to watch the ceremony process without any blocking part to see the whole event as well as enjoying the nature. The couple will walk at the center road, stepping the stairs to the center bridge which two families could meet. After the end of ceremony, they could step to the peak stage, front facing the ocean and free the birds.
