The project includes one 200m high-rise office building, one 150m high-rise apartment building, three 100m residential towers and street shops on the ground floor. The project is connected with the subway to realize the composite superposition of office, business and residential functions.
As the headquarters center of Kunming, the 200m high-rise office reflects the
promulgation of its landmark tower. At the same time, it forms a distinctive urban
architectural community with apartment towers.
Located in the core area of Wujiaba, the project is a new center of urban
development in Kunming, occupying the core position of the free trade zone. The
surrounding landscape resources are rich. The regional planning is about 5000 mu
of Central Park, which runs through the whole Wujiaba area from north to south.
The design of the office tower is inspired by "Shentian", which is formed by the "stacking" and "interlacing" of terraced stalactites. It is located in Jiuxiang karst cave in Kunming. Through the study of its staggered advancing and retreating volume, we extract the "folding, interlacing" facade language, and rotate it by 90 ° to enhance the vertical expression. In order to express the alternating rhythm of the overall facade and highlight the landmark of the tower crown. The apartment building follows the "staggered" rhythm of the main office tower, which makes it echo with the office, and there are differences between them, with clear primary and secondary. The commercial podium adopts the natural curve formed by Kanda's "stacking", which makes the whole building group more stretched and dense. There is a close dialogue between the tower and the podium, which makes the whole building group more coordinated and unified.
