Situated in the bustling metropolitan area of Hong Kong, the IBM Hong Kong office is a 3-story restack project that possesses a total of 36,480 square feet.

The design concept of the office is to evoke a feeling of being surrounded by nature. The office utilizes numerous greeneries and lighting designs, in order to juxtapose the notion of nature and office together, which helps promote mental wellbeing and sustainability.

Design Characteristics are the elements of a space that make the office environment instantly recognizable as IBM. These characteristics include: Rhythm and Pattern; Perspective and Geometry and Duality. These features are derived from IBM’s design language and serves to reinforce the brand of IBM within the built environment.

By incorporating detailed observations and approaches, this office design allowed concepts to be pushed and new design ideas to become a reality.
