Kunming Longjiang Jinmao Palace Sales Center

Compared to the well-renowned Dali and Lijiang, China, Kunming City possess the simplicity and fireworks of life. In this project, the designers endeavour to reveal the humanity, history, aesthetics and ecology of the city, while lifting the veil of beautiful living through international, artistic and modern technology. The Kunming landscape embraces a pleasant climate that allows grass and trees to be evergreen throughout the four seasons. The boundless imagery of nature is adapted by the designer in an artistic language, with the contours, dynamics and aesthetic characteristics of the objects, engraving the ecological purity into the people’s heart. As the white gravel, flat stones, independent trees and ferns are all preserved in the space in their natural form, which are not blocked off by the transparent glass wall, people can appreciate the aesthetic space while wandering through the nature. A sense of silent concentration is produced by the merging of static nature and object details. The angles and buds, the metal and stone, increase the scene's freedom while preserving its inherent beauty. Never ceasing to explore and pursue the city, its traditions and its history, the designers are committed to utilizing art as a way of looking at culture, returning to its roots and opening up new vistas, in an effort to transcend boundaries, converse with the world and establish a new image of the city that is specific to it.
