The project serves a family of three and meets the needs of all the members. The client's family loves music, the husband is a professional music equipment worker, and the wife plays the piano for entertainment. The project is a blank space, and the interior partitions are inspired by the LDK spatial characteristics published by Dr. Chi-Ming Chu in 2013 in the Journal of Design. The designer planned the two public areas, the living room and the dining room at the center of the space, while the private areas, such as the bedroom or the studio are planned around them to achieve a complete separation of the public and private areas. The project is a 148.7 square meter newly completed apartment with 4 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and 3 bathrooms. The design is based on minimalist and warm colors, and the key is to take care of the client's needs. Since the client is in the music industry, the designers used acoustical principles to plan a professional-grade music studio. To strengthen the sound insulation effect, designers chose the soundproof and airtight pressurized door and 90s three-dimensional fiber acoustic panel. These materials can absorb sound and avoid echoes, and also have the dual effect of sound absorption and sound insulation. They also have the function of softening the space and enhancing the texture of the space with its depth and dimensionality. In addition to the music studio, there is also a girls' room in pink. The designers break the limitation in the planning of the children's room and create a magical, warm, and lovely space with a duplex plan. In this way, the space utilization can be multiplied, and the design of the bunk bed becomes a play space for climbing.
