The project is a cozy residence created by the design team for a family that loves to travel. The theme of this project is "hotel-like" resort style. The design team uses low-saturation colors like white and gray and a variety of materials to create a delicate and high-quality environment. Finally, the space is decorated with linear lighting and beveled design to form a subtle luxury style that meets the client's preference.The project uses two approaches to present the subtlety that a hotel-like house should have:One is the combination of different materials. The designers have exquisitely expressed the different appearances of each area through paint, slate, marble, and titanium plating. Especially at the entrance of the public area, the door of the shoe cabinet is a combination of titanium plating and mineral slab. The slab is beveled to reveal the characteristics of the material, allowing light to be reflected between the paths. The wall of the entrance hall, which creates a grand atmosphere, is painted with art paint and gold foil to create a dazzling visual effect. Moreover, matte FENIX panels are used on large cabinets or facades, which have the advantage of soft texture, emphasizing the impression of hotel-like relaxation.The other is to strengthen the design elements. The design team uses linear lighting and beveled design to enhance the strengths and eliminate the weaknesses in the space. Linear lighting effectively connects all areas of space. When the light hits the materials, the linear light can amplify the subtlety of the design more strongly. Beveled corners are used in private areas. The designers do not overwrap the ceiling to preserve the use of space. They used bevels on the sides of the beams to weaken the volume and enhance the openness.
