Nature's Concerto

The design integrates multiple layers of white and gray in natural harmony to meet the homeowner's expectations. The project gives a new interpretation to the renovation by thinking out of the box and getting the balance of different needs with gradations of colors and natural materials.
Starting from the entry, the negative space is deliberately reserved to present a smoothing and simple vibe. The white and gray TV wall and woodgrain cabinet add layers of space harmoniously. The other walls with special paint of micro-cement highlight the natural texture making the space full of vitality, elegance and power.
Interestingly, both the husband and wife of the house owner prefer "simple", but their preferences are different. The design challenge is how to balance the bright freshness and grayscale in cool tone and meet the family's longing for home.
Insufficient lighting in the long and narrow house is reinforced by artificial lighting plan. Also, the reeded glass sliding doors of study room enhance the effect of space transparency. The 4000K recessed lights and parallel decorated 3000K LED light strips are used to weaken structure volume and solve the visual oppression of two-meter height caused by the roof beam between the living room and dining room by vignetting and halation. The storage wall cabinets are used masterly to solve the problems of old apartment that cause visual abruptness such as misalignment angle, asymmetrical walls, and irregular layout. Keep the space intact but not overprocessed.
The special paint on the walls of the side cabinet in the dining room and study room presents irregular shades and textures like the stone walls. The fine gray tone carried by the light gives the rhythm of nature and personality details to the space.
The customized two master bedrooms are arranged with individual preferences for color and lighting. The people-oriented design not only considers the owners’ living habits but also the desire for home.
