GUANGZHOU ZHUOYUE QINGCUIFU EXHIBITION CENTER, covering an area of about 7595.10m2, is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou, China, which is one of the important birthplaces of Guangfu culture. Located in this city with a long history, the project design aims to explore the traditional Lingnan people's lifestyle and provide high-quality and vibrant community space for the urban space in the old area. The project is designed with the purpose to combine the communication functional space of the exhibition center with the needs of urban public activities through the concept of "mining regional culture and embedding modern design", connect the modern life scenes with the combination of "pavilions, corridors and courtyards" in traditional gardens, and arouse people's memory and vision of the neighborliness in traditional life communities.
The design injects the spirit of "inheritance and transformation" of Lingnan Garden into the space organization of the exhibition center to create multiple sequential places; The design creates a number of places with different artistic conception. From the hotel style drop off area, you can enter the quiet water courtyard, and then enter the sunken exhibition center courtyard through the public living room. Through the continuous walking, you can express the progressive mood of the traditional space and the modern experience of Lingnan space. At the same time, the space arrangement of cornices, wind and rain corridors and overhead floors echoes the hot and rainy climate of Lingnan, and also provides a rich activity space for the city to reproduce the warm and smoky scenes in old Guangzhou.
