The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone is located in The Lok Ma Chau Loop area of Shenzhen, on both sides of the Shenzhen River, the natural boundary between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It covers a total area of 3.87 million square meters, including 3 million square meters in the Northern Shenzhen Park and 870,000 square meters in the southern Hong Kong Park.
In response to the 14th Five-year Plan, the Hong Kong Government report recently released stressed that the development of the River Loop area will be a common issue for Shenzhen and Hong Kong to meet the future development needs of both cities, and strive to establish a unique innovation platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
As the leading unit of the consortium, Huayi Design, together with Aedas, won the design competition of East Wing 1 of Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. The project is located at the core of Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, facing Huanggang Port (under construction) in the north, Futian Port and the free Trade Zone in the south, facing the River of Hong Kong Park.
Inspired by " PHOENIX DRAWN TO THE PARASOL TREE ", the team gathers the context of the surrounding cities and uses an abstract and concise architectural language to make the towering landmark tower stand in the image of the phoenix tree in the place where Shenzhen and Hong Kong meet, and the uneven facade curtain wall is like a phoenix. feathers. The whole design means to welcome talented people from all over the world, reflecting the concept of prosperity of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
The office tower features an iconic entrance lobby from the bottom up, multiple aerial viewing platforms and bauhinia Pavilion at the top, creating a rich functional and visual experience. Bauhinia Pavilion means "Bauhinia blossoms on the sycamore", with a talent exchange platform between China and Hong Kong, where the ecological wetlands on both sides of the Shenzhen River can be seen.
