Interior Life Melody : Drink and Relax

The host was born in Denmark, working in Taiwan, and married to Taiwanese. After the marriage, the host decided to purchase the 200 M² apartment with originally four bedrooms, one dining room, one living room and three bathrooms. Selected the design in Scandi style specially include the wine cellar build in red brick in this project.





Basically, the apartment is dividing into three areas, Wine cellar, open Kitchen and living area. Wine cellar replaced a bedroom close to the dining room, in 12M² space maintain in 16℃ temperature. This is host’s special request to combine with self living culture and daily routine life. Enjoy with friend, sharing the Friday nights or making romantic night with wife. Open Kitchen is almost in the same idea, with 18 M² space, unlikely the Asia traditional closed kitchen type, it is wishes to create multiple functions in advance can be linked with wine cellar. Enough space in open kitchen is excellent to work not only for western but Asia style of interactive arrangement. Last area is living room, working home office and bed room. These areas are mainly focusing on the relaxing, simple and describe in warm tone. To use the nature wooden color, fireplace to describe our design in nature, comfortable and modern home relaxing suitable for all activities as watching movies, small alcohol and chatting with friends. Moreover, a guest room is necessary and ready for all of you to stay at any time to create the maximum functions in this Project.



Light tone with typical smoked oak, special red brick wall and Spiver selected painted based on these three main materials and detail color matching to decrease the brightness of whole space by part of direct or indirect light performances. To use above way of designing to match the host’s requirement and collecting his ideas in combination of special request and to match his Denmark Scandi style. Even stay in Taiwan still have the feeling of Denmark house.
